CRAB Club FAQ's
I just purchased a CRAB Rewards card. How do I receive my welcome reward?
To receive your $10 welcome reward, you must first register your card account online. You will receive an email verification request, with a link to complete your registration. You'll be asked for the card number - it is on the back of your card, top left corner. You'll then be asked for the 6 digit pin number. It too is on the back of the card, on the bottom left corner, scratch off the coating to reveal it. Once registered the $10 reward will automatically be loaded to your card, and will be automatically redeemed on your next visit to any CRAB location.
How many points do I earn per dollar?
Earn one point for every dollar you spend on food and beverages. (Tax and tip do not earn points).
Do I earn a birthday reward?
Yes, you will receive a birthday reward for $10 off your next purchase. It will show up on your card, and automatically be redeemed on your next visit within 30 days. Be sure to use it! It goes away after 30 days and doesn't come back until the next year!
How many points do I need to earn to be rewarded?
For every 100 points earned, you will receive a $5 credit loaded onto your loyalty card. You may apply this $5 credit to any of your following visits.
Do I have to pay to join the program?
Yes, there is a one-time, non refundable $10 membership fee, BUT you will receive a $10 off coupon via email within 24 hours just for registering your card online, so it’s like joining for nothing! There is no annual fee to continue your membership.
Can I earn points without registering?
While an unregistered card may accrue points, the balance will not convert to rewards dollars until the card is registered. Also, you will not receive the $10 welcome offer until the card is registered.
Can two members from the same household be members?
Absolutely! However, only one card may be used per check.
Do I earn points when purchasing or using a gift card?
You may earn points when using a gift card to pay for a check, but will not earn points if purchasing an actual gift card.
Do I earn points when using reward dollars?
No, unfortunately points are not accrued when redeeming reward dollars.
Can I earn points for someone else at my table?
Only the paying guest may earn points.
Do my points expire?
Nope! Your points have no expiration date.
Do I earn points for tax and gratuity?
No, points are awarded before tax and gratuity are calculated.
How do I join the CRAB Rewards program?
All you need to register for the program is your shiny new CRAB Rewards card! Click here to register your card online. You will need the number on the back of your card, and then you will be prompted to complete information fields such as email, name, zip code, etc. Don’t worry, we will never share your e-mail address with partner businesses, or with third parties; you will only receive emails about CRAB rewards from us! How will I know that I have earned a reward?
You will be notified via a message on the bottom of your check if you have earned a reward, or you can login to your rewards account to check out what rewards you’ve earned.
Will staff let me know if I have a reward waiting on my card?
No, staff won’t have access to your reward information ahead of time, so if you think you may have a reward, please ask the staff to swipe your card, or access your rewards via the online member portal from your smartphone.
Is there a limit to how many rewards I can have at any given time?
Rewards for points earned stay on your account until you use them, or, for date-triggered rewards, until they expire. There is no limit to the number of rewards you can have in your account at any given time.
How do I redeem my birthday treat and other rewards I receive via email?
When you’ve earned a reward, we’ll send you an email. To redeem the reward, print out the email, or let the server know which reward you would like to use on your next visit.
What if I forget my card?
Not to worry! Our staff will be happy to look up your account using your last name, email address, and/or phone number.
What if I forgot my card AND I have a reward I would like to redeem?
Not to worry! Simply provide a staff member with the phone number on your account, last name or email. A valid ID will be required to redeem a reward so we can verify you are actually the person on the account.
Can I track my progress online or on my smartphone?
Yes! You may visit CRAB Club Memberlink, login, and then view all of your rewards, partner business rewards available, and points at any time.
I forgot to present my card during my last visit. Can I still get points?
If you keep your receipt! Bring it on your next visit and give it to your server along with the phone number on your account, last name or email. A valid ID will be required to verify you are actually the person on the account.
Where can I earn points?
You may earn points at any of our Coastal Restaurants and Bars locations. These include: Aunt Chilada’s Easy Street Cafe, The Boardroom, Carolina Crab Company, Fishcamp on Broad Creek, The Crazy Crab Harbour Town, The Crazy Crab Jarvis Creek, Reilley’s Grill & Bar and Reilley’s North End Pub.
Can I transfer points from my account to another person’s card?
CRAB Rewards are for personal use only, and points are not transferrable to another person’s card or account.
How can I change the information on my CRAB Rewards profile?
Login to your account and then click on Change Security Settings, enter your password and click Submit. Once there you may change your User Name, Password or Forgot Password Question and Answer. The current settings are displayed in the fields themselves except for the Password field.
What if I have a question about my account?
For questions, please call 843-536-8600, or send an email to email@example.com. We will try to respond to all questions within one business day.
I lost my password (yikes!) - how can I log in to my account?
If you forget your password, use your user name to get the security question prompt. After answering your security question correctly, you will be prompted to change your password. You can then log into the system using your new password.
I forgot my username; how can I log in to my account?
Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org - include your card number, name and phone number. A representative will contact you to retrieve your username.
Can I unsubscribe to CRAB Club emails?
Yes, but you will no longer be notified of exclusive member-only benefits and emails including reward notifications.
RULES and CONDITIONS:
Reward points are available on qualifying food and beverage purchases at all Coastal Restaurants and Bars locations. You must present your card at the time of purchase to receive your points. Point accrual is not valid with any other offer. This means that if you have a coupon or other promotional offer, points will only be issued for the amount of dollars actually spent during the visit.
Each individual may only have one active card at a time and you must have an email address to register.
You will be awarded one base point for every $1 spent on food or beverage. Points will not be issued for tax or tip. You will receive a receipt after every purchase that will serve as a confirmation that your points were credited to your account. The cardholder must be the individual paying the check.
Points may be earned only by the cardholder who pays the check. Points will not be issued for the purchase of gift cards. However, if the recipient is a CRAB Rewards member, points will be issued upon the gift card redemption.
Your points are issued in real-time and can be viewed on your receipt and online.
Every time your account reaches 100 points, the points will automatically be converted to a $5 reward and is instantly added to your account. It’s that simple! Your reward dollars can be used for food and beverage purchases at any Coastal Restaurants and Bars location.
Coastal Restaurants and Bars reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to terminate the CRAB Rewards card program, and to alter, limit, modify, or add to the CRAB Rewards card rules, regulations, terms and conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, imposing time limits and changes in point values, rewards, and reward levels, all without prior notice, at any time.
Except where required by law or provided for in the program rules, CRAB Rewards points have no cash value. Points are surrendered for reward redemption only.
Coastal Restaurants and Bars reserves the right to discontinue membership privileges and/or void all, or a portion of, a member’s point balance if the points have been issued, received, or redeemed through computer error, fraud, illegal means, in a manner not authorized in the official rules & conditions, or in any other legal or equitable remedy which may be available for the CRAB Rewards card program under applicable law.
We occasionally send emails to CRAB Rewards members with discount offers, information about our loyalty card reward program, Coastal Restaurants and Bars news and upcoming events; however, we will never share or sell our list of loyalty members.
Employees of Coastal Restaurants and Bars are not eligible to participate in the CRAB Rewards program.
CRAB Rewards promotions and discounts cannot be combined.
